ADATA ELITE SE880 1TB Review

Performance

Starting with Crystal DiskMark, we can see the SE880 Elite is by a smidgen delivering slightly better-read performance than claimed. This is likely performance measured in the most optimal conditions, where all the data fits on the cache. That said, for reasonable file sizes the SE880 is extremely fast.

The next test was AS-SSD which is an old benchmark by now, but just as relevant today as it was back then. This test much like Crystal DiskMark shows the drive is well and truly capable of delivering 2GB/s in reads and almost 1.9GB/s in sequential writes. The overall score is actually better than what we had with early Gen3 M.2 drives.
