Why so much capacity mother?
We can here you asking the question: Is a high-capacity external storage devices still necessary in 2021? Well yes… But only for certain use cases. When looking at the packaging of the ADATA SE900G, you can see who this absolute bonkers of an external drive is aimed at. “Works with PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series S and X”. Noting the increasing size of digital copies of games, you are going to have to invest in some or other extra storage at some point, especially if you do not have a fast enough internet connection to download these huge games. Just as some examples, COD: Modern Warfare is sitting at cool 231GB of disk usage. Red Dead Redemption 2 uses a cool 165GB. ARK: Survival Evolved, with all the available DLCs is taking up a crazy 275GB of space. Adding all of this up it can be seen why a person might need some extra space for some digital goodies.
