ADATA XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 512 GB SSD Review
Conclusion
Unless you need to do massive transfers on a regular basis, there is often very little setting one NVMe drive apart from the flock. Unless you want the best of the best and have twice the budget, there is very little reason not to consider the ADATA. It skips on some of the more gimmicky features such as RGB lighting in order to rather bring you solid performance for your money. Synthetic performance is not world moving, but when it comes to real world performance the XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro is much like many other SSDs on the market.
The red and black heatsink manages to exude a bit of class, which isn’t something you expect when thinking red. The software included is also a full suite of what one would expect, and then some. The customizable thermal and life expectancy alarms are great for people who don’t regularly keep an eye on their drive, and may save one from unexpected data loss. Overall, the ADATA manages to offer good value for money. At $ 75 for a half terabyte NVMe drive that even includes a heatsink you’ll be hard pressed to find something that offers better value. As such, it is awarded the TOC Value Award.
