G.SKILL TRIDENT Z5 RGB DDR5 6800 Review
Back with another G.SKILL TRIDENT Z5 RGB DDR5 Kit but this time using the much vaunted Hynix-A die IC’s and rated at a healthy DDR5 6800 speed. What this kit provides you with is enhanced performance out the box (versus the default DDR5 5600 for Intel 13th Gen Core CPUs) at an incredible price. More over, this memory kit has massive overclocking headroom, capable of speeds well above DDR5 7800 provided you have a capable motherboard and CPU. In this review the G.SKILL DDR5 6800 kit was tested not only at its XMP timings but at its overclocked settings as well where the choice of IC makes the biggest difference. At roughly R5,450 including shipping and taxes (from Amazon) there are few if any high speed kits that can match this one when it c0omes to value for money.
