Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed is one of Ubisoft’s most successful franchises. Odyssey is the latest installment, and takes us to Ancient Greece. Traditionally a buggy series, Odyssey has gotten things mostly right and is a stunner to the eye. Testing was done at the laptop’s native resolution of 1920×1080 using the Ultra High preset.

AC Power

The average frame rate of 44 FPS is somewhat acceptable, although it misses the target of 60 FPS. As such, you might want to lower the quality settings slightly in order to reach a higher frame rate. However, the game isn’t extremely fast paced and you might find that 44 FPS is fine.

Battery Power

Unplugging the laptop sees the average frame rate dip down to 38 FPS, which is a lower than what most would consider acceptable. You will likely want to disable anti aliasing or lower some of the other settings in order to increase the frame rate to a more playable level.
