Intel TVB – A better way of overclocking – Podcast 2
Finally one has made sense of newer overclocking ways, instead of the old school single multiplier overclocking. With Intel 11th Gen Core and newer, getting the most performance out of the CPU will need one to be familiar with Intel’s Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) on the 11900K and how it works.
The Z590I AORUs ULTRA has a great 5.1GHz all core auto overclocking feature, but you will want to use manual TVB settings instead. As this will not only get you the 5.1GHz all core OC, but also the 5.3GHz single/dual core OC as well.
It can be as simple as you want it to be or as involved as you with (Temp A, Temp B, Bin Offsets, V/F Curve tuning)
Whatever you decide, TVB is an incredible feature and tool for extracting performance.
