KFA2 GeForce GTX 680 LTD OC V4 All-White Graphics Card Revealed
KFA2, Galaxy’s European premium brand of graphics cards, will be releasing a new GeForce GTX 680 2 GB card – with a twist. While white has become a more common color for computer cases in recent times, the hardware inside has for the most part been a lot more colorful. This new, limited edition card (SKU GTX 680 LTD OC V4) features an all-white design, and has been given a hefty overclock to boot.
The ice-cold white coloring extends further than just the fans and shroud of the cooler, all the way to the PCB. The cooler itself consists of three 90 mm fans blowing air across a large alumimium fin-stack heatsink which covers the full length of the card, and help keep the temperatures in check with the generous overclock from 1,005 MHz all the way up to 1,150 MHz (with Boost going even higher). The 2 GB GDDR5 memory remains untouched at 6.00 GHz.
Display outputs are taken care of my one DisplayPort 1.2 connector and no less than three mini-HDMI 1.4a connectors, although DVI doesn’t make an appearance at all. Power is taken care of by two 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and the card can be teamed up with a further three to run quad-SLI. There is no word on pricing yet, but as the card carries the standard amount of memory it is expected to come in at under £450, or about $750. Source — Hexus
