MSI today introduced a new GeForce GTX 680 graphics cards to its arsenal sporting 4 GB of graphics memory and the model name N680GTX Twin Frozr 4GD5. The larger amount of memory comes into play when using NVIDIA Surround or high levels of anti-aliasing in some of the more demanding games. The card is expected to be available as both a stock (1006/1058 MHz core and boost respectively) and factory overclocked version, which will have core and boost speeds of 1058/1124 MHz respectively. The cards will have 4 GB of GDDR5 memory on a 256-bit bus clocked at the stock speed of 1502 MHz (6.01 GHz effective) for bandwidth of 192.96 GB/s.

The cards appear to have a custom-designed PCB and make use of the high-performance Twin Frozr III cooler seen on several other cards. Power delivery is taken care of by two 6-pin PCI-e power connectors, which is the same configuration as the reference GTX 680s. Pricing is not yet known but is expected to be around 20 % higher than that of the 2 GB variants. Source — techPowerUp
