MSI GTX 580 Lightning

The GTX580 Lightning is another magnificent looking graphics card from the MSI lightning series. MSI has established themselves at the forefront of the GPU sector over the past 2 years and the 580 lightning has the potential to further stamp that authority. MSI has paired the latest NVIDIA GF110 core with a 16 phase PWM courtesy of their Military Class II power delivery and finished it off with the proven Twin FROZR cooler. You get a clear picture that MSI is targeting the overclocker with this GPU and that’s before you even know you can adjust the GPU Core, memory and PLL voltages all directly through software. MSI takes things a step further though, with dip switches to increase OCP, switch between BIOS’s and increase voltages directly.
