ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1650 Review
Temperature and Power Consumption
There isn’t much to see here. As stated earlier, temperatures are more than acceptable with even Furmark not able to make temperatures reach the 60’C mark (No Overclock). Keep in mind that these were measured in an open test bench so depending on your environment and case air flow, load temperatures can be as much as eight to ten degrees higher than what you see here, but unlikely.
Power draw for this card is minuscule. I’m unsure why the ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1650 even needs additional PCIe power. Throughout all the testing even when overclocked not once did it exceed 75W which is the given TDP for the GTX 1650 anyway. Regardless, having additional power doesn’t hurt. For those concerned about power consumption though, the STRIX card consumes very little.
