Benchmarks – Memory bandwidth & Geekbench

Write bandwidth figures are low as usual, but this is property of all Ryzen 3rd generation CPUs barring the Ryzen 9 3900X and Ryzen 9 3950X . the default 3200MT/s as per Ryzen 5 3600 spec gives plenty of bandwidth and of course even more at DDR 3,733.  Even higher figures should be possible, with further tuning and lower latency settings.

Despite the four thread advantage, the new platform manages to outpace the older Ryzen 7 2700 CPU.  DRAM tuning is where the best motherboards will excel, allowing one to extract even more performance from the memory sub-system.
