XFX RX 5600 XT THICC III Ultra Review
Test System
For all the testing we used an X299 system at 4.5GHz. This doesn’t necessarily give the best gaming performance as the Z390 platform would be faster, but it does give a more realistic representation of performance than a 5.2GHz all core 9900KS as used in previous reviews.
Overclocked gaming results are absent as there’s no guarantee any two cards will overclock the same. That said what you will find are overclocked synthetic results, which may not translate into performance gains in games. The following graphs of the XFX RX 5600 XT Thicc III performance include other graphics cards for reference, not for comparison. They do not occupy the same price point and have vastly different performance targets.
Configuration | |
CPU | Intel Core i9 10980XE | 4.5ghZ 1.08V |

Testing was done on an open air benchtable so depending on the air flow in your case and a host of other conditions, you may get higher or lower temperatures for the graphics card.
